Thought Leader Global (TLG) Finishes First Half of 2011 with Successful Lineup of Events

June 2011: Amsterdam:

Thought Leader Global started 2011 with some new events as well as additional successful annuals. In March, TLG organised a highly successful forum on Merger Integration Management which attracted a very diverse group of corporate leaders. Discussions were highly fruitful and a 2nd forum on merger integration has already been scheduled. In April, TLG assembled audit directors for a highly practical and informal gathering, focusing on many issues including process mining, IT audit, ERM, emerging markets, and executive compensation. In terms of evaluation ratings, it was our most successful audit forum to date. On April 11-12, TLG organised a larger-scale tax event, with 30 speakers over two streams:  one stream dedicated to direct tax and the other designed for indirect tax. The format proved to be unique and helpful for attendees who wished for a more diverse event and the option to create their own agenda. During early May, TLG ran its 2nd Controlling forum which was well-attended by finance experts from a variety of industries. Issues discussed included business intelligence, forecasting, beyond budgeting and additional frameworks for corporate performance management. Towards the end of May, TLG held its 3rd Corporate Fraud and Corruption Forum, which was unique in terms of its informal atmosphere allowing participants to ask questions and share their opinions on anti-fraud, corruption strategies and regulatory risks. During the 2nd half of 2011, TLG is preparing a portfolio of additional events, some new and some annual. We appreciate the active participation of our attendees and are pleased to report that we have over 100 written testimonials from attendees of our past events.

Thought Leader Global (TLG) Concludes Second Half of 2010 with Unique Group of  Events in Amsterdam and Geneva

December 2010: Amsterdam:

Thought Leader Global finished 2010 with a group of highly anticipated events. In October, TLG produced its first forum for financial directors, controlling directors and those interested in corporate performance management in Amsterdam. It was well attended and highly interactive; the event featured a panel discussion on the second day which highlighted the key issues of CPM strategies, forecasting, business intelligence and technologies and tools available to support controlling. During November, TLG produced its first two-streamed event on internal audit and corporate risk in Geneva. The unique format allowed attendees to select sessions from the audit stream and sessions from the risk stream; thus every attendee tailored their own agenda. Feedback for this event was strongly positive, and it was fruitful for all to see a wider variety of perspectives presented. Additionally in Geneva, TLG organised its first Switzerland-based tax forum, which attracted a respected speaker panel as well as a knowledgeable audience of tax and finance directors from around Europe. Finally, TLG organised its 2nd forum on fraud and corruption, a well-attended event which built on the themes discussed in its previous event and featured new perspectives on due diligence, regulation, investigations and ethics.
