Andrew Bailey, Head of Forensic and Compliance, Corporate Audit & Forensic, Airbus

Andrew established and currently leads a team of auditors, investigators and data analysts on a variety of missions globally across the whole Airbus business. Andrew is also a regular trainer and speaker and has particular expertise and experience in anti-fraud, anti-corruption and other ethics, compliance and sustainability matters.

Gbemi Yusuf, Senior Compliance Counsel, OneTrust

Gbemi is a legal and compliance professional with over 10 years’ experience gained from global large and listed companies. She joined OneTrust in 2022 as a senior compliance counsel within the Ethics & Compliance Center of Excellence team. At OneTrust, among other ethics and compliance matters, Gbemi is responsible for building programs to manage OneTrust’s third party and supply chain risks and addressing customer queries on these topics as a SME. She is skilled at working in cross-functional environments to identify and implement effective solutions to ethics and compliance issues and has been responsible for developing and managing various aspects of corporate compliance programs.

Richard Tocknell, Senior Manager – Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance, BT Group

As lead for BT’s anti-bribery and corruption compliance team Richard’s responsibilities include managing BT’s high risk third party due diligence, approvals and in-life monitoring programme; as well as conflicts of interest; gifts and hospitality; ABC risk management; and data analytics.

Richard started his career in internal audit where he gained an MSc and qualified as a chartered internal auditor before moving into compliance in 2012. Over the last 9 years Richard has become an ABC subject matter expert and has gained a wide variety of experience through leading projects that include setting up BT’s Speak Up system and conflicts of interest register; and leading a variety of ABC assurance reviews and investigations before moving into his current role in 2019.

Amy Layton, Anti-Bribery and Corruption Manager, BT Group

Amy is currently the Anti-Bribery and Corruption Compliance Manager at BT, supporting Richard Tocknell.  Amy has been with BT almost a year, and previously worked at KPMG in the Forensic team, carrying out roles in respect of investigations and compliance and corporate intelligence, with a specific focus on ABC and third party risk management. Amy is a qualified chartered accountant and an accredited counter fraud specialist.

Helmi Schoof, Head of Compliance & Ethics EU ‘MIDI’ Region, Boehringer Ingelheim

Helmi is currently head of compliance and ethics at Boehringer Ingelheim, responsible for: healthcare compliance, privacy, antitrust, antidiscrimination, antibribery & anticorruption, and insider trading.

She previously worked at PwC and Wyeth. Helmi is from the Netherlands and has a Master of Arts for ‘Cultuurwetenschappen’ at the Maastricht University.

Hanno Hinzmann, GVP, Global Field Compliance Officer, SAP

Hanno heads the Global Field Compliance organisation and as such with his team steers SAP’s corruption, bribery and fraud prevention strategy, including the policy, compliance processes training and counselling sphere, embedded in stewardship as well as business partnering mindset.

Before he joined SAP in 2010, he worked as Legal Counsel in Telco and as Forensic Consultant with various tier 1 and tier 2 audit firms. He is an attorney, lecturer at Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society, and a passionate traveler to all parts of the world.

Jad Mhanna, Senior Compliance Officer Business Area Networks, Ericsson

Jad is a registered attorney in the Beirut Bar Association. He has worked in the compliance field for more than 12 years while holding several roles both global and regional in Europe and MEA. In parallel Jad constantly seeks knowledge: he holds an LLM in International Business Law as well as several certificates in ABC and AML Compliance. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French. Alexandra Dobrovolskaja, Compliance Officer Global Customer Unit Telecom Italia & South East, Ericsson

Alexandra currently holds the role of Compliance Officer responsible for the Global Customer Unit Telecom Italia and South East Mediterranean at Ericsson advising the leadership team on all aspects of the group’s global Ethics & Compliance Program and driving its implementation in the Customer Unit. In parallel she is the subject matter expert on Third Party Management for the Market Area Europe and Latin America. Throughout her career, Alexandra has been focusing on anti-bribery and corruption matters within two international companies under the Monitorship appointed by the US Department of Justice from both implementation and audit perspective and has been regularly contributing to the corporate investigations related to ABC matters. She started her career as an external consultant at Big 4 company supporting clients (pharma, financial institutions, industrial companies, government organizations) with fraud investigations, ABC audits and implementation of Compliance programs.

Paul Hulshof, Director, Compliance and Integrity, KPMG

At KPMG the Netherlands, Paul is responsible for the team of Forensic Integrity and Compliance Services, which consists of 40 professionals. His team supports organizations in the financial, corporate and public sector with their compliance and ethics agenda. Paul is an expert in designing and implementing Integrity, compliance and ethics programs for international companies in a wide range of industries. As part of these programs, he assists in assessing the risk and compliance culture, creating effective speak-up systems, renewing codes of conduct, setting up sound compliance control frameworks, designing Integrity and Compliance training programs and organizing Tone at the Top sessions. In addition, Paul coaches leadership professionals to be proper role models as part of effective Integrity, Compliance and Ethics programs.

Mariëlle Pfann, Ethics & Integrity Leader, IKEA

Mariëlle Pfann, Ethics & Integrity Leader within Inter IKEA Group, Delft, the Netherlands.

Mariëlle has a background in sustainability, ethics and corporate investigations. Marielle has a background as sustainability consultant within KPMG in the Netherlands after which she specialized in the field of ethics and integrity. She continued her career as Compliance and Investigations Director within Carlsberg in Denmark where she co-developed a global compliance program, build the policy house and lead the investigations team. Today, she works within Inter IKEA Group, where she co-constructs the Ethics agenda, manages the Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy and keeps oversight on the raise a concern environment and related investigations.

Berta Balanzategui, Senior European Privacy & Data Protection Counsel, Corporate Privacy Office, General Electric International

Since December 2017, Berta has been working as part of the Corporate Privacy Office of General Electric Company and deeply involved in GDPR implementation in a global company, currently focused on Privacy governance definition and consolidation of GDPR after more than a year of enforcement. She is actively working with the Privacy community in Madrid and sharing knowledge with people interested in growing as Privacy/Security professionals through IE Cybersecurity Master and ISMS Forum (DPO Certification)

Patricia Bailey, Compliance Officer – Western Europe, MAN Truck & Bus

Dr. Patricia M. Bailey is Compliance Officer for Western Europe for MAN Truck & Bus who started out her career as an international contracts lawyer. Having spent many years working on international contracts and M&A for law firms and companies such as Teleperformance, Alstom and Dresser-Rand, in 2011, Dr. Bailey made the decision to move into Compliance. Dr. Bailey is responsible for the implementation of MAN’s Compliance program in Belgium, France, Portugal and Spain and advises the management and employees on all questions relating to Anti-corruption, Anti-trust, Data Protection and Anti-Money Laundering. Dr. Bailey is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, holds a doctorate in international law from the European University Institute (Florence) and is a member of the California Bar. Based in Paris, Dr. Bailey holds French citizenship and is an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer.  

Jeffrey Cottle, Partner, Brown Rudnick LLP

Jeffrey Cottle has both external and in-house compliance experience both in the US, Europe and elsewhere.

Jeff focuses on all aspects of compliance program design, roll-out and implementation, including training, risk assessment, due diligence on third parties, and monitoring/audit protocols. He has extensive experience in the compliance-related issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in post-merger compliance integration, and is adept at devising solutions to both the strategic and tactical compliance-related issues faced by companies, especially in high risk markets.

Before he pursued a career in law, Cottle was an active-duty U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer, deployed in various assignments in Latin America, the Middle East and Southwest Asia, as well as on the staff of the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon.

Patrick Gilman, Partner, Brown Rudnick LLP

E. Patrick Gilman is a partner in the Firm's White Collar Defense, Investigations & Compliance Practice Group. Patrick is a former federal prosecutor in the United States Army and a seasoned trial lawyer with extensive experience before both federal and state trial and appellate courts. Patrick represents corporate and individual clients on all aspects of complex civil and criminal matters, corporate governance including internal investigations, cybersecurity and privacy,  Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption Due Diligence Investigations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Sanctions programs, developing and implementing corporate compliance programs, and representing companies and CEOs before both the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Before joining Brown Rudnick, Patrick was an award-winning Judge Advocate in the United States Army focused on prosecuting violations of international and domestic criminal law, national security law, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance. He has worked globally throughout Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia, building and leading teams focused on and managing complex trials and conducting and managing investigations. Patrick is a decorated combat veteran with more than 16 years of experience in investigations and litigation, national security law, and disrupting illicit financial criminal networks. Patrick maintains a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.

Ashu Sharma, Group Investigations Manager, Anglo American

Ashu Sharma has over 20 years’ experience in investigations and financial crime risk management. He has worked in investigations in the UK and abroad in diverse sectors such as mining and minerals, banking, law enforcement and the regulatory sector. His experience includes working at Anglo American, HSBC, the UK Serious Fraud Office, and the Electoral Commission. Ash is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Financial Crime Specialist. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Association of Corporate Investigators.  

Daniel Selle, Compliance Officer, Daimler Trucks Overseas

Daniel Selle majored in International Accounting, Taxation and Controlling within the Eberhard-Karls-University in Tübingen, Germany. After 5 years of working within ThyssenKrupp in Germany in the field Subsidiary Controlling of Easter European and Asian Subsidiaries he joined Daimler in Stuttgart, Germany, in June 2011. Within the first 5 years he was working in Corporate Audit Department conducting Forensic Investigations and Process Audits within Daimler Subsidiaries and external Business Partners worldwide. Since May 2016 Daniel Selle is supporting Daimler´s External Business Partners in high risk markets such as Middle East and Africa with regard to setting up a Compliance Management System based on Daimler´s expectations and in consideration of the local legislation and requirements.

Tim Sjollema, Head of Fraud Investigations and Customer Screenings, Philips

Shairil Yahya, Head of Fraud Investigation Management, Philips

Shairil is responsible for the development of data management initiative for the Fraud Investigations Team in Philips. This includes building and maintaining the fraud investigation case data-base , e-discovery processes and tooling, and compliance data analytics program. Shairil is a Charted Accountant with specialization in financial fraud investigation and IT data management.

Andy Slater, Commercial Director, FACT360

Andy’s role as Commercial Director at FACT360 is to deliver the Global GTM and Sales function driving growth globally.

He has held a number of roles building out sales organisations and growing company revenues in both UK and across EMEA. Most recently, as the VP and MD EMEA,  he built out the revenue model and drove significant growth in the EMEA business at Actifio Inc, a US start up based out of Boston focusing on Data Availability and Business Agility.

Cecilia Pizzutti, Global Head of Internal Controls, Voltalia

Cecilia Pizzutti serves as Head of Internal Controls at Voltalia, a renewable energy company headquartered in France and with projects being developed in over 25 countries. She has over 10 years of experience in Risk, Internal Controls, Governance and Compliance, working within major international groups in the financial, retail and energy sectors. With Italian-Brazilian origins, she has developed her career internationally, working in countries such as Brazil, United States, Canada, France, Spain, Portugal, and United Kingdom.

Marc Heitz, ESG Alliances Lead, Dun & Bradstreet

With a background in Ethics, Economics and Data Science, Marc has over 20 years of multi-industry experience in risk management. He successfully built several companies from scratch; managing the data, building the solutions and platforms.  Marc leverages his entrepreneurial skills with his expertise in Credit Scoring, ESG Ratings and Real Estate investment to advise enterprises and groups of all sizes with their Data Strategy. He is currently the Business Development Director of Partnerships & Alliances at Dun & Bradstreet UK and his primary focus is on ESG  and how it impacts risk management.

Laurent Colombant, Continuous Monitoring Solution Lead, SAS

Laurent has been helping customers tackle financial crime using NLP, ML and analytics since 1998. After focusing on sanctions screening, anti-money laundering, payment fraud and terrorist cell financing he is now working to address Continuous Controls monitoring for SAS customers. This includes the procure to pay process, supplier integrity (KYS), maverick spend, retail shrinkage, travel and entertainment fraud modus operandi. He’s the EMEA solution lead for Procurement Integrity and believes it’s the next to hottest fraud detection solution in the market. Prior to joining SAS, Laurent worked on sanctions screening and halt of business for Tier 1 banks using lexical AI. He was the General Manager of Cognitive Systems Europe now a subsidiary of Temenos specialized in scanning and STP repair of SWIFT messages. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and a joint degree in linguistics, econometrics and computing from the University of Montreal.

Matt Gardner, COO, Intelligent Sanctuary

A former Police Chief Superintendent with over 30 years’ experience. Matthew led the UK’s largest Anti-Corruption and Professional Standards unit out of New Scotland Yard, Metropolitan Police, London for five years. Within this role he presented and advised on anti-corruption to government officials from Albania, Ukraine, Georgia, Sweden, Peru, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Ireland & Malaysia. UK National Police Chief’s Council representative on Professional Standards, Anti-Corruption and Ethics, a member of the UK Government’s Steering Group on legislative guidance on Police Reform and the National Designing out Crime police lead for the UK.

Jyri Wesanko, Director, Compliance and Ethics, Kesko Corporation

Jyri Wesanko (LL.M, CCEP-I) is an experienced compliance and responsible business professional with more than 15 years of in-house experience in leading compliance teams in retail, telco and financial sectors. Currently Jyri is leading Kesko Corporation’s Group Compliance & Ethics function with a special focus on data protection, competition law, anti-bribery & corruption, and trade compliance & export control. He is also experienced in internal investigations, third party management, risk management and management systems.
